Wonga Culvert

Kestrel manufactured and supplied carbon fibre laminates for structural strengthening works at Wonga Culvert. Bonded to the underside of the concrete structure, CFRP laminates increase flexural capacity, extending the asset's service life without the cost and disruption of full structural replacement. Strengthening the existing culvert offered a more cost-effective way to increase its load capacity than replacing it with a new structure.
